Ditch attends Players Ball 2010

Rapper Ditch attended the 2010 Players Ball this weekend in Hollywood, Ca. The Players ball a 34 year tradition, was held for the first time ever on the West Coast and was sponsored by Serious Pimp clothing. The event is an annual gathering of celebrities, pimps and music artists from around the world who attend to celebrate the birthday of Bishop Don “Magic” Juan. Ditch performed last night at the San Diego Medical Marijuana Cup 2010. The event took place at Legends nightclub and featured many vendor booths from cannabis collectives and dispensaries. Ditch performed a heated set that included special lasers and smoke effects. B Real from the legendary rap group Cypress Hill was also in attendance, judging the Cannabis cup which consisted of Marijuana from 7 local dispensaries. Ditch headlines Shock Fest 2010 with full band

Ditch brought a powerhouse set to the Shock Fest 2010 awards ceremony last night (November 13th 2010). The performance included a full band performing with Ditch inside of an enormous movie theater located on the famous Raleigh Movie Studios lot. Ditch's performance included a larger than life creation of Ditch as a comic figure on a full sized movie screen behind him. Ditch's promised special effects were cut at the last minute for fears of them setting off fire alarms and speakers. A day before the show during testing of the equipment, fire alarms went off at the studio, irking film director Wes Craven as he was attending a film premiere. Ditch speaks out on being a white rapper/ calls haters racist

Rapper Ditch, never one to not speak his mind, has lashed out and what he calls racist haters of his music. Ditch has labeled people who doubt his talent, drive and skills based up him being white as racist’s. The half Italian and half Irish and German rapper has responded to haters who say Ditch will never make it because he is a white rapper. Ditch says “The color of your skin has nothing to do with anything in this world. It certainly doesn’t mean I have no talent, it doesn’t mean anything to me and my career, either. After recording over 80 songs (some with Shock G, Eek-a-Mouse, Hot Dollar, Bishop Don Juan, Cashis, Chali 2na) and performing over 400 shows I have proven it doesn’t slow or stop me. As a matter of fact I get more respect from a diverse room at my shows then I do in a room full of white people. I am the least racist person in this world; my haters are using reverse racism against me to only their demise. Talking about race in music is like talking about age in music they both don’t matter. Look at Willie Nelson he is almost 90 years old and still doing it” Ditch wonders why people continue to judge white rappers when the number one rapper is white, Eminem. “People will look for any reason to tear you down when you’re on your way to the top. They will try to confront you, judge you, harass you; some of them even stalk me. These are people who are sick in the first place, it’s too bad some people can’t find their own path in life.” Ditch also laughed off comparisons to Eminem and Vanilla Ice: “Enimem, like his mentor Dr Dre, controls the rap game. When people compare me to him I laugh our music, style, flow and content none of that is the same. We have nothing in common. I laugh my ass off too when people compare me to Vanilla Ice… I love it, thanks I would love to sell 48 million albums and be worth what he is worth. I am never at any moment trying to be anyone else but ME! I love myself and my journey on the rise to fame has been so far a 10 year span of excitement, sex, parties, good times and wild shows. Ditch joined friends Ivy League onstage with a special surprise performance at a mansion in Nellie Gail, Ca. The show took place at the home of Marvin Winkler who is a billionaire business man whom once convinced investors to buy stake in Gotcha Clothing. The stage show was elaborate, complete with arena sized LED image screens provided by Interstate Displays Inc (www.interstatedisplays.com) and a large stage. Ditch hit the stage with Ivy League on their first song “Officer” in an array of fog and intense laser lighting. Rapper Ditch will walk for Breast Cancer Awareness

Rapper Ditch will continue his quest to raise cancer awareness by this time putting down the microphone and instead walking across the NBC/ Universal Studios lot in an effort to bring attention to the deadly disease cancer. The event will take place Sunday November 7th 2010 beginning at 2pm at the Hard Rock Café at Universal City walk with a special awards ceremony by the Mayors office. The walk will then continue onto the NBC/ Universal lot. People are encouraged to attend to help raise awareness for cancer. The event will be followed up November 24th 2010 at Falcon in Hollywood, CA with a free concert by Ditch and other musicians. This walk is presented by David Harrison Levi and Danielle Korman with hair and makeup provided by All About Faces.
